I have done three rounds of IVF - one with Richards and the other two with U of U. I now have three children. I had my first doubt when Dr. Richards first tried to push me into having unnecessary surgery from his brother who later had criminal charges against him and fled Utah. But then I went to the U and saw the state-of- the-art facility there and realized that he was truly unprofessional. He told me that I would need to go to California for certain procedures when in fact they were offered in Salt Lake and at a better price. Then I found out that his former partner also faced criminal charges and lost his license. He saw me years later in a store and asked why I didn't come back and when I said I had gone to U of U, he thanked me for not sueing him because apparently that has happened in the past. I believe he takes uses the emotional turmoil of infertility to his advantage for financial gain. Please visit all of you possibilites before choosing this center.
